History major with a passion for Victorian literature here. I spent 3 months working on my research paper on Charles Dickens’s works and his role in prison reform in Victorian England for History Seminar. Six novels and a number of letters and literary critiques were read and analyzed to compose this paper. Ah the joys of combining literature and history. <3
Sidenote: I have yet to see any Dickens appreciation here :(

In support of gay marriage, Ben & Jerrey’s has reimaged their apple pie pint of ice cream to Apple-y Ever After with a gay them on the carton. This March, as the United Kingdom government debates whether to legalize same sex marriage, Ben & Jerry’s have partnered with the gay rights organization - Stonewall - to raise awareness about the importance of marriage equality. The carton includes two men celebrating their wedding.
B&J’s had this to say
Social justice is at the core of our values and this is why we’re taking a stand to campaign for marriage equality in the UK. Show your support and help convince members of parliament that it’s time to say ‘I do’!
This isn’t the first time they changed the name of some ice cream in support of Equality. Back in 2009 they renamed Chubby Hubby to Hubby Hubby.
